+ STRENGHTS :
Will come back after death. Inhuman strength and speed. Demon form.
Beyond his physical and ability strength, Hide possesses an incredible mental resilience.
- WEAKNESSES :
Vulnerable to corruption and can in turn become a mindless demon. His friends/family are also vulnerable through him.
A RANDOM HEADCANON.
It’s rare to find him scared or even visibly concerned about enemies. If anything, difficult foes tend to mostly make him annoyed; while being injured/killed hurts, he has the ‘luxury’ of returning from death each time so being scared of monsters and such is pointless.
Hide doesn’t give two shits if you’re a giant monster swinging a sword around, you’re only making his day more irritating.

Once upon a time... (Spoilers for Nioh 2 and Rise of the Ronin!)
Miyoshino gives birth to twins in 1525 AD, on the 14th of September. The twins are separated to keep them safe, as their mother is a yokai (A demon), meaning her sons are Shiftlings or half demons. Hide lives with his mother for ten years, until she's murdered by Kashin Koji. The event leaves Hide traumatized to the point of being rendered mute for several decades. He spends his teenager years on the streets, where he's often bullied for being half a demon. At the age of 26, he cuts a lonely life as a demon hunter.
Fate would have him encounter Tokichiro, who accepts him for who he is and drags him along on his adventures. As Nioh 2 takes place, Hide becomes an important instrument during the 1500s in Japan. He encounters his father and his twin but loses them quickly again, due to the conflicts and the Spirit Stones corrupting most people around. Along with Tokichiro, he starts to work for Oda Nobunaga and gets to know Mumyo, the leader of the now extinct Sohaya - a clan of yokai hunters.Eventually Tokichiro and Hide asks to share a name together; Hideyoshi; and the pair spend the next years battling in Nobunaga's name. The more Spirit Stones that Tokichiro collects however, the stranger he grows and the bond between him and Hide becomes strained. As decades pass, Hide realises he doesn't age with the rest of them, due to his nature as a half demon.Saika Magoichi tries to kill him at some point as they're in opposite forces. They very quickly form a bond, despite their battle in which Hide came out the victor. They part ways, but there's a growing interest between them that lingers. Nobunaga is killed, due to Tokichiro conspiring against him, having now been corrupted by the Spirit Stones. Hide has no interest in following him in this path and him and Mumyo joins the rebels. During this time, the Saika aids them and Magoichi personally takes on training Hide in the use of rifles, as well as swords as whatever Hide knows already is clearly self taught. They grow closer; close enough that Hide learns Magoichi's real name; Suzuki Shigehide.Hide quickly comes to blows with Tokichiro; reluctantly ending his life for the greater good, however it only lasts a short while. Kashin Koji resurrects him and later on; it's Hide who is slain by a much more powerful Tokichiro, using his own dagger. The Interim is the place where all dead must pass and since Hide can't really die; thanks to his origins, his visit there is short. He does encounter his mother here again for the first time; who is very happy to see him but haven't been able to rejoin the world of the living after her death. She tells him to reforge the blade Sohayamaru, which is in fact part of his glowing dagger and Mumyo's medallion. Objects, along with the actual blade, that grants eternal life to whoever wields it. As he returns to the living world, he asks the others for help, realizing that a lot of time has passed between his 'death' and awakening.Hide is surprised to learn that Shigehide is no longer the leader of the Saika; having passed that role down to his nephew; who is now the new Saika Magoichi. Instead, Shigehide joined the rebels; as he greatly detests Tokichiro's new reign. Their time apart has made them both realise how much they really care for each other and they're officially a pair after Hide's return.Tokichiro; now a powerful lord years later, have more or less taken over. Hide returns to end his reign once and for all; killing him with the help of the now forged blade. Kashin Koji, as Tokichiro apologizes for what he's done, now that he's come to his sense; claiming it all as having been one long living nightmare for him that he couldn't escape.Hide fights Kashin; defeating him as well; and perhaps for once ending his chaos, as he's the one who has been possessing people in order to cause havoc across the land. Otakemaru as the man turns out to be; is an ancient yokai who Hide seals away forever; fulfilling the destiny he was set out with. In doing so, he falls into a deep slumber that lasts for almost two decades.

He awakes again, because of Maria; a woman who arrives in Japan to free Otakemaru (During Nioh 1 events) and in doing so, Hide's freed from his own slumber. The man chasing Maria, William; is a foreigner who happens to be around when Hide awakes with red eyes, a sign of possession. Their ensuing battle is what knocks the sense back into Hide and he joins him in taking down Maria.Hide learns that the rebellious group that took down Tokichiro in the first place, has now converted over to a group of people who'll kill yokai and also keep watch over any Spirit Stones, to avoid them being misused again, something that Maria directly does. Mumyo and Shigehide are still a part of it; neither having aged at all due to Mumyo having worn the medallion (which is actually the cross guard of the blade) and Shigehide who took Hide's dagger after he fell asleep, so it wouldn't fall into the wrong hands. The reunion is happy, especially between Hide and Shigehide who refused to abandon Hide even after eighteen years.During these events, Maria also resurrects Tokichiro; hoping to bring the cruel lord back and someone Otakemaru is more than happy to possess again. Before he can however, Hide intervenes and ends up possessed himself. As he fights off Otakemaru inside his own mind to regain his control; he's aided by no other than Tokichiro who luckily is his old self after his resurrection. Otakemaru is finally defeated once and for all; Maria is stopped and peace returns to Japan. Tokichiro leaves the world of the living peacefully and Hide, Mumyo and Shigehide go on to continue ridding Japan of yokai and watching over any remaining Spirit Stones. In between Nioh 2 (1525-1616) and Rise of the Ronin (1853) the Sohaya is rebuild into a clan that protects the Spirit Stones and makes sure that no one attempts to use them for evil again. They gather magical artefacts and kill hostile yokai where they can, although the spirits and the demons calm down a lot in this time, due to the lack of the Spirit Stones presence. To the point where the public almost forgets that they still exist. In 1724, Shigehide is assassinated by Shogun spies, who has started to see the clan as a rival force; not trusting their use of magic and strength. While Hide kills the man responsible, he's so distraught and broken that his body shuts down and he enters a very long sleep. It's first in 1811 that he wakes up again, to a new world but a thankfully similar clan. Shortly after that Mumyo decides to stop extending her life to build a family and gives birth to a boy called Reyse in 1815.In 1837, Hide encounters a nine year old shiftling, who lost his family and village to a shogunate raid, called Tenshin. He takes him to the Sohaya, who raises the boy as a warrior. Hide quickly starts to see the other half yokai as a younger brother, trying to give him the care he himself didn't get as an orphan. In 1853 (Rise of Ronin events begin) the black ships arrive to Japan, and the clan finds out that there is a Spirit Stone on one of the ships. Hide and Tenshin are sent out to investigate. While Hide collects the Spirit Stone and a secret document, the Blue Demon shows up with a weapon that is capable of taking out yokai. Tenshin is injured in the fray and before Hide can react, he's shot and killed himself. His body, per his nature, dissipates and he's re-formed by a shrine on land but by the time that happens, the ships are long gone.A few weeks later shogun spies raid the clan, killing most of the Sohaya. Mumyo and a few others manage to survive as Hide covers their escape. While Mumyo decides to rebuild the clan further inland, Hide heads out to try and find Tenshin, as he can feel he's still alive through his Guardian Spirit. Declaring himself a ronin to keep the Sohaya safe, Hide encounters Ryoma Sakamoto in 1858, having no idea what that man will bring him in his life.Together, they set out to tackle the trouble in Japan, making allies and enemies both. Not only does the brewing civil war threaten Japan but so does also the threat of a new demon invasion, something Hide wants to stop to every price.Continued in A new beginning

STAR WARS .
Hide spent a lot of his time on Cardulia where he encountered Ash and brought her into his clone squad. He was in a way, the jedi liaison between Cardulia and the Republic. No one truly knows what kind of species Hide is as he has never said, though he looks perfectly human.
When Order 66 occurs, his clones turn against him and he escapes thanks to Ash. He's injured when a chipped Crosshair gets involved, something he survives until the Bad Batch arrives to take him to his home world. He remains unreachable for a very long time. During the rebel era before the Empire falls, there’s rumours of a Jedi aiding in places, until Hide comes forth properly after the Empire’s collapse. He joins Luke and Ahsoka, intent on helping with rebuilding a new Jedi School.

WESTERN/RDR .
Travels with Tenshin, a fellow shiftling. Part of the Sohaya group from Japan, they have travelled to the USA to find the idiot who snagged a few Spirit Shards; their main task is to find this person and remove the shards from their possession before it corrupts them.
Will stand out a great deal, but do wear mostly local gunslinger clothes, with a few Japanese touches. Katanas are preferred but both possess magic and rifles if need be.

FANTASY/MODERN .
Grows from the same verse of Nioh 2. Hide and his group of protectors try to keep the Spirit Stones' influence under lock and key, ever since the 1600s. Eventually, an old wyvern in America sniffs them out and brings them to Los Angeles, where the dragon lord Jodosa also starts learning about them.
Hide and Ryoma travels to Los Angeles, to try and stop the wyvern and he ends up temporarily working for Jodosa in doing so. While the yokai mainly remain in Japan, some are starting to appear in Los Angeles, brought on by the Spirit Stones.

WITCHER.
Takes place after the Nioh2 events; something causes Hide as well as parts of his world's energy to enter the Witcher world. A red wave of mist covered the lands, leaving strange things in its wake. Not only can people find Spirit Stones here and there; there are also yokai coming to life. Some of the Spirit Stones also start to affect the regular monsters, especially relics. Monsters such as chorts and fiends will gain red eyes and golden crystal growths; as well as golden colouring in their horns.
Luckily the benign yokai show themselves too; like the Guardian Spirits, although the Witcher world isn't made for them. There are no shrines and no one who believes in them, except Hide.Hide himself was thrown into Kaer Morhen, who took him in the first weeks during the confusion and lost translations. Eventually his Guardian Spirit managed to translate the languages and the Witchers of the keep gained their own Guardian Spirits, as well as a shrine that Hide built for the Kodama there. It's the one place in the land that most likely has benign yokai. He eventually travels to Morrow, where he finds himself a lot more at home.

A RANDOM HEADCANON.
As a cardul, Ash tends to always carry survival tools and such with her. With how dangerous her homeworld is, it’s a trait most carduls have. This includes herbs, a skinning knife, tinder pouch, rations, a comb and medical salve.

Once upon a time...
On the fourth of ‘January’, 52 BBY, Ashyra Blake is born to Trygve and Revna Blake, in a remote village. She inherited her fathers wing colours and hair, and her mother’s eyes and facial features. Very early on, her parents realised she was a sensitive child with a very curious mind.
She had a difficult time making friends and so kept much to herself, indulging in fantasies of visiting alien worlds, especially when her parents told her about how the Carduls were discovered by the rest of the galaxy. Ash developed a fear and dislike of slavers and pirates already as a child, thanks to her father’s rather vivid storytelling about Cardulia's neighbours. As she entered her teenage years, her parents started to involve her in their chores as well as properly learning how to survive on her own. Ashyra was more interested in flying around and shooting things with her bow; wishing nothing more but to adventure out in the galaxy. An invasion force of hikarens - dark force creatures with red eyes that emerge randomly on the planet every decade for just one night - enters the village of Steinnlundr and slaughters everyone in it, including Ash’s parents in 35 BBY.Before dying, her parents locked her in the pantry of their house. As the monsters try to break into the pantry, Ash attempts to escape through a window, only to make the room collapse on itself, burrowing her under the rubble. While the hikarens give up and disappear as the sun rises, Ash is trapped under the rubble, unable to move, with only her dead parents for company.Hours pass before someone finds her; a traveller who happened to come by and realised something awful had happened. Raud Ternor digs her out of the rubble, helping her recover for a few days. Realising that the 17 year old girl is woefully incapable of taking care of herself, he takes it upon himself to teach her. After some time, Raud ends up outright adopting her, becoming her step-father. For eight years he teaches her, making her a warrior. While she’s haunted by her parent’s deaths, having developed a fear of closed spaces as a result of being trapped in the rubble, she’s determined to never again be helpless in a dangerous situation. Ash becomes very serious and closed off during this time, rarely smiling or indulging in more relaxed activities, despite Raud trying to make her sometimes.

Between 30 and 24 BBY, Cardulia slowly gathered the Republic’s interest which culminated in 24 BBY at the formation of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. Seeing a greater threat at hand, the Republic were now eager to get as many as possibly into their fold. This also attracted various non cardul communities to develop on the planet, which were closely watched by the cardul leadership. Despite their suspicions, the Cardulia leadership agreed with the Republic’s proposition, finding themselves not aligning well with the Separatists’ goals and ideals.Raud (and in turn Ash) ends up working for the Cardul diplomat Zenda, who wishes a strong cooperation between the Republic and the Carduls. While Ash's main task was to assist Raud (and learn about the Republic in general on behest of his own request of her), she did end up performing so well that the Republic leaders on the base took notice of her. Unlike many of the cardul warriors in the base, Ash wasn’t just an expert on energy archery, but also with sniper rifles. In the end of 22 BBY, after the Clone Wars had begun, the Separatists tried to kidnap someone from the Cardulian leadership, in order to convince them to stop working with the Republic. A seasoned Jedi Knight; Hide (pronounced Hi-de), was sent out to deal with the matter, along with the Clone Captain Tenno and a small force of clone troopers. Raud suggested they bring Ash with her. Their mission becomes a success. For the next three years, Hide was stationed in the Cardulian region of space permanently and with how well he and Ash had cooperated, he’d requested her to be assigned to his squad of clones, as a guide, if she so desired. Wanting to see more of the Republic and space itself, Ash agreed, becoming a frequent part in the Jedi’s company. This eventuelly leads to her meeting Clone Force 99 for the first time. While their friendship had a rough start, she ends up on a few of their missions, earning their trust. When Order 66 happens, she's on Cardulia with Hide, who is swiftly attacked by the clone troopers under his command. They flee, only to encounter a chipped Crosshair a few days later who they manage to escape from as well. Thanks to the Bad Batch's arrival, they can transport a wounded Hide to his homeworld and Ash temporarily joins their team.

During the game events, she aids the Sarantu while also dealing with a new threat from the RDA.A squad of recoms are deployed in the area but they quickly abandon the RDA in favour of the Resistance. Ash ends up helping them, somewhat against her will. Known as the Bad Batch, the recoms quickly win her over.

A RANDOM HEADCANON.
Varga is by all intentions, a good karma character. Any leftover gold or food, she hands out to those in need; much like a Robin Hood ideal. While she used to be a thief, and still occasionally is, she only steals from those who have more enough.

Once upon a time...
Varga was adopted by the vigilants of Stendarr at the age of ten with no memory of her real parents; an age where she was really too old to be fully accepted in their group, due to her being close to her teenage years. She wasn’t as easy to mould to their views. Which meant that the rest of her eight years with them, she was unruly and stubborn; refusing to fully accept their ways.
Unable to preform magic or accept their rules; Varga never became more than an errand girl, as they preferred to keep her out of their way. Especially with how she'd also developed a talent for stealing, in a way to act out her feelings. Despite their crude behaviour and dislike to her; she still stuck around for as long as she could because it was the only world she could fully remember and honestly, it scared her to be alone.
$\quad$Until the day she was sent out in the nearby mountains at the age of 19; where she was attacked by a werewolf. In the battle they both tumbled down the cliff sides; resulting in the werewolf dying but not before biting Varga. In pain and under the effects of the early curse, she was barely conscious, and was taken in by a nearby village until she could recover enough to be on her way.
With no available cure to the disease coursing through her veins, she tried to make it back to the vigilants only to end up being too late. The curse fully took hold, resulting in her slaughtering a guard just outside of the town she'd been healed in. Terrified and ashamed of herself and her first frenzy, she fled the north side of Skyrim; escaping to the southern woods where she stayed for around six months, too scared to approach villages or towns often.
$\quad$She sharpened her combat abilities and learned to live and plan ahead with being a werewolf during that time; picking up archery on top of her sword and shield skills. Eventually she reached Riften, where she could hone her abilities as a thief too; everything to stray as far as possible from the path that the Vigiliants tried to guide her onto.

Varga stayed with the guild for the rest of her twenties where she met a lot of people, for the better or worse. An argonian named Tarjon who, while first close friends became merely allies as he abandoned the guild to join the Dark Brotherhood instead. Rishka, a female khajiit who still remains one of Varga's closest friends and also Fengir, a fellow werewolf. They ended up as lovers for a few years, but separated due to not agreeing on where to take the relationship. At the age of 27, a year after her and Fengir's separation, he was killed by a high elf called Taryan, who hated werewolves above all. Varga and he had still remained friends and she left the guild to seek revenge, chasing the elf and being chased in return when she realised that she didn’t stand a chance against the much older and experienced woman. Varga kept on the move as much as she could until she turned 30 and went to Solstheim; hearing about it as a good place for werewolves and seeking a refuge from Taryan's endless hunt. Here she met Tenshin, a mercenary, who became a long and trusted companion, eventually following her back to Skyrim. During this time, the vigilants of Stendarr were all killed by vampires, resulting in Varga finding out about how they thought she had betrayed them by turning into a werewolf. She and Tenshin cremated the bodies but Varga would never be able to look at the guild with fond eyes ever again. One day they passed by Whiterun and helped killing a dragon, only to learn she was the Dragonborn. A visit to the Graybeards later, she realised just how awful the situation was and what was expected of her. She powered on though, completing the long quest of taking out Alduin. Just a few days after the death of Alduin, she was invited to a meeting in Solsteim on Ulfric's behest to continue sorting out the on going civil war, when Taryan attempted to assassinate her during the meeting.Taryan was killed in the attempt, with Varga seriously wounded. Varga, realising how close she'd been to death two times in just a week, decided to tell Tenshin the truth about her growing feelings and the two became an item that very day. Seeking to protect Varga, Tenshin suggested they travel to Morrowind and leaving the war behind. Knowing the Stormcloaks were in capable hands, Varga agrees.

AUs

STAR WARS .
Varga doesn’t remember the first ten years of her life, or her parents; only that they're called Svärd like her. She was found by a smuggler gang and basically raised by them instead. They taught her survival skills as well as thievery but Varga was eventually left behind during an unsuccessful heist.
She was found by a Jedi who, rather than turning her in, decided to dig a little deeper and then helped her find a better path in life.In 20 BBY, Varga encounters the Bad Batch and gets dragged into one of their missions by mistake. She in particular ends up working closely with Crosshair. Ever since then she stays in contact with them and offers her aid when needed.During Order 66, Varga leaves the Republic/Empire’s service and encounters Trace and Rafa. This is also how she learns of Rex and eventually joins his group.

WESTERN/RDR.
The town’s only or at least best gunsmith around; with a side business of theft and being a fence. While her gunshop is the outside front, the shadier business happens at the back, through the backdoor.
A very public figure as well, as she enjoys socialising, most people know of her, as people always need guns bought or fixed. But very few knew of her true nature, that of a werewolf.

HORIZON FORBIDDEN WEST.
An intelligent young woman, Varga quickly showed her talent with craftmanship. The Oseram patriarchy stopped her from becoming successful within it though, despite her talents and hard work. It didn't help that her mother was a former Carja; something some of the Oseram men had problems with.
As a result, she started to steal from the nobles instead, always having had a quick hand. That went on for a few years until she was caught amidst a few other criminals and nearly sentenced to death.
Realising her folly and that the Oseram would never change, Varga managed to flee with some of the others before travelling to Meridian. They split up after that and Varga returned to her tinkering and managed to survive on her own in Chainscrape in the Daunt instead.
When the bristlebacks show up, she's forced to roll her thumbs until Aloy comes by and fixes the problem. Varga helps out with scavenging the bristlebacks and encounters Erend and Varl during the attack at the Gates. She hangs around them for a few weeks and later follows them to the Base.

+ STRENGHTS :
Extremely powerful. Clever with a strong survival instinct.
Immense physical strength, speed and ferocity. Will shrug off injuries. Demon abilities. Immortal.
- WEAKNESSES :
Being lost/forgotten, losing his purpose, not acting/being himself.
Very few. Best bet is to run. But he can be lured into less favourable scenarios. Also, water/ice attacks are a big danger.
A RANDOM HEADCANON.
He works on a prey/predator system while following his own honour system. Treat him well and with respect and he’ll at least tolerate you, maybe even befriend you. He won’t kill those weaker than himself unless they provoke him or a job requires it. Doesn’t shy away from torture to get what he wants. However, he refuses to lie or backstab and avoids crimes of the sexual nature.

Once upon a time...
Kherus left his host Seruth after he was exorcised by a witch on Seruth’s command. He used his anger at being abandoned like this to become more or less of an underground crime lord; in order to surpass his host’s success. He still answers to Jodosa, the city's self proclaimed Dragon Lord and bonded to the dragon in terms that only sand demons understand.
After Kherus left Seruth’s body and got his own physical form; he was first in a partly ethereal/shadow form while barely surviving in shadows for years. During this time, he was bonded with Arshada to avoid being slaughtered by the Herat as a loose sand demon. That was a long time for his hatred for Seruth to fester, as well as learning to strongly dislike humans after their attempts of trying to kill him. Once he did develop his actual physical demonic form and his human disguise, he grew a bit less openly angry but remained strictly in favour of supernatural creatures. His gang is one of the largest criminal ones in Los Angeles. They’re not particularly aggressive, as they mostly deal with smuggling, shady dealing and stuff like that. They definitely have a hand in whatever black market deals are going on too.

They will get aggressive if their deals are cut off, intruded on or otherwise betrayed (just as their leader absolutely despises this with a passion). They may not be the largest gang, but they’re definitely one of the most feared ones in those circles.Kherus is mostly doing this because of his host and he wants to become better than Seruth ever was. It’s as much about proving himself, as it is to take revenge and survive and become the best. It’s why their line of business is mostly about making profit and making a name for themselves, rather than running about murdering people and causing chaos. As an extra means of show off, his gang hides their business beneath a nightclub called Babylon; which Kherus runs, as an innocent image to the outside world. Due to his bond with Jodosa and generally serving under the leader of Los Angeles, a big part of the profits go to Jodosa. Kherus doesn't like this but has accepted it.

PRINCE OF PERSIA.
Kherus started off in Prince Seruth’s mind, after the Empress of Time was murdered by the Vizir at the time. He aided Seruth in restoring the Prince’s kingdom (Follows much along Prince of Persia: the Two Thrones storyline). When the prince fell for Farah however, everything Kherus had planned went into ruin. He attempts to take over his body instead, being foiled by Seruth and Farah.
Kherus was forgotten inside Seruth's mind, until the latter kills the vizier, thus releasing the Sands of Time into the world. In doing so, Kherus is ripped out from Seruth’s body and mind, cast into the world as a fragile, weak sand creature; with no humanoid features at all. Like a mere wisp, he flees the scene; confused. As months pass, he manages to reform into a body of his own. A human, bearing some resemblance to Seruth and a full sand creature form. As Kherus hides in Babylon, he’s eventually knocked out by an incident involving water. It’s actually Seruth who finds him and brings him to the Palace. They have another argument there, with Kherus being annoyed at Seruth knowing of his existence at all. He accepts Seruth’s offer of staying in the Palace for a while, to see what exactly the Prince - now King - is talking about. But as weeks pass, Kherus isn’t impressed by Seruth’s methods. And he especially loathes Farah, who he sees as the main bad influence on Seruth. They have an actual fight this time, with Kherus leaving and promising revenge. This time Kherus is much more careful and spends years building up his strength and allies. He finds other disgruntled citizens, who don't like Seruth for various reasons. Especially as the years pass and Seruth continues to make decisions that mainly favour the nobles in the city.As the centre of Babylon becomes more prosperous and the technology advances over the course of a decade; Kherus has managed to become quite the thorn in Seruth’s side. Knowing that Kherus is somewhere out there has made the King paranoid as well.Kherus is now the leader of a secret rebel force, residing in the mountains outside of Babylon. With several hidden bases in the city itself, the bandit force - as seen by the city officials - is capable of disrupting trade lines and doing other things to make it difficult for the King.As things have only improved for the lucky few in the city; Kherus has managed to find plenty of unhappy citizens to recruit. Under the decade, his thirst for revenge has mellowed some and he’s matured into someone who is actually genuinely interested in doing what’s best for his people. But he’s still determined to say that isn’t Seruth. So, Kherus slowly works to undermine Seruth, until he can deliver a proper killing blow to the King. A lot can happen until then.

WESTERN/RDR.
Kherus, some time 2000 years ago were trapped during his hibernation and locked into a tomb. That tomb was eventually discovered by Jodosa, a dragon lord residing in America.
He helped free him, making the demon owe him a debt. Something Kherus loathes and he wants out of the deal by any means necessary. He cares little about hiding himself from humans, but will do so if it causes less fuss. Very intimidating and dangerous but help him out and don’t get in his way and it’s all good. Will openly laugh at any church business.

MASS EFFECT.
A black and golden toned drell, whose ancestors were not one of the lucky ones to get rescued by the Hanar. As such, he’s been living a rough life on Rakhana, where every day is a struggle to find resources and even stay alive on the dying planet. It’s made him weary of technology, due to what it did to their homeworld and he loathes the Hanar for not rescuing his ancestors.
His skill with dual wield blades and general battle prowess made him a prime interest by other races who stopped by, accepting to work for them in order to leave the planet. The next five years, up to his 35th birthday, has given him plenty of experience and general know hows around the galaxy. He still refuses to deal with tech more than he has to however and is generally poor at it. He at best accepts his ship Babylon.

HORIZON FORBIDDEN WEST.
Kherus had only been free from his host Seruth’s mind for a few years, when the Faro Plague started to become a problem. Thanks to still having access to Seruth’s old contacts and influence, he quickly found out the truth about the world ending. While Seruth was invited to join the Elysium bunker, Kherus was left on his own, like so many others. There was no way to combat the Faro Plague, and while Kherus could take down the machines easily in his demon form, they’d never stop coming.
As the world started to fall, with humans, animals and plants dying all around him, he saw more death and destruction than he ever imagined. Kherus falls into a feral state and degenerates to the earliest stage of his demon form.He has no memory of this time. He has no idea if he killed any remaining soldiers or machines. While his demon form doesn’t need to breathe, it’d be taking so much damage that his mind wouldn’t have coped. And being made of sand, the Faro Plague wouldn’t really detect him. Most likely he hibernated for centuries at the time in crevices, away from any rain, while Gaia worked to heal the world. Even when Hades resetted three unviable biospheres, Kherus has no memory of waking up during these.Once he does retain conscious, it's a slow process taking place over a very long time with several hibernation periods. He finds a Focus at some point, discovers the early humans, studies them and learns the machines over the course of even more years.Eventually the Sun-King Khuvadin discovers him, befriends him and Kherus becomes the Shedu, the Sun-Kings personal guard over generations. A role that the later Sun-King Jiran nearly destroys in his own madness.Kherus joins the rebellion that Jiran's son Avad is leading, along with the Oseram. Despite the odds, they manage and Avad becomes the new Sun-King and works on righting his father's wrong. As he does that during the years, he and Kherus develop strong feelings for each other but no one speaks about it.During the two game events, Kherus keeps a close eye on the developments, eventuelly helping Aloy and the others against the Zeniths.

Once upon a time...
9:12 Dragon, 22d December – Eleanor Treveylan gives birth to her fourth child; a celebrated event and the first few years of Isaiah’s life are under good care and plenty of love. As the Trevelyan family wish to do good by the Chantry, they follow their rules perfectly and start early in teaching Isaiah the same.
- 9:17 Dragon [Age 6] – Isaiah shows magical abilities which ends up throwing his entire life around. Terrified and ashamed, his parents do the thing expected from them by everyone else. They hand their youngest child over to the Ostwick Circle, to be raised in safety and far away from the family home. When the Circle suggested that the family could still visit Isaiah, they refused, claiming that he had brought shame over their house and it was easiest for everyone if they just never mentioned him again. This all happened in front of Isaiah, who did believe them at the time as he had already been influenced by their strict religious ways.He made no protests when the Templars took him away, even though he was terrified and didn’t really want to leave. In less than a few days, he was taken from his home and sent to the Circle.- 9:17 – 28 Dragon [Age 6 to 17] – While Isaiah experienced a trauma so early in his life, he learned quickly that almost every other child in the Circle had similar experiences. He gained a new family in the form of the friends he made there, realising that in a way he was more free now than he had ever been. The boy had a natural aptitude for magic and here he could freely study it with people that were just like him. The way his family treated him would always haunt him and for several years that fuelled his drive to become the best mage he could be because maybe then they could forgive him and take him back.A notion he dropped in his early teenager years since he realised that wasn’t how the world worked and he ended up simply working as hard as he did for his own sake and to prove his worth to the Circle instead.- 9:28 Dragon [Age 17] – Isaiah’s taken away to complete the Harrowing; the ritual that will advance him from apprentice to Mage in title but might also be the end of his life. Something that was a great concern for him since he felt he was too young to undergo the ritual but the enchanters who decided it was time for him, clearly saw him as ready. Something that only added the pressure. He can recall the day of the ritual with perfect clarity, how he was brought into the Fade to face the demon that wanted to possess him, how the Templars guarding him during the process would be ready to kill him if that happened. The offer the demon gave him had been a good one but Isaiah could at least give himself the credit of being too strong to fall for a demon’s manipulation. He was out of the fade again quickly, earning his title, silver ring and life. After the ritual he was no longer a student and started his research in earnest, as well as became a teacher in ice magic as that was his forte.- 9:31 Dragon [Age 20] – Another Harrowing occurs, this time with Isaiah’s best friend, Aaron who is 21 years old. The two have been best friends since early teens and while Isaiah were fully aware of Aaron’s reluctance to be a mage, he never expected that the other would resist the Harrowing as much as he did when the day came. Aaron attempted the ritual but it was interrupted for unknown reasons, possible the state of fear that Aaron landed in. He screamed and begged to be made Tranquil instead. Isaiah possible made the worst decision in his life that day, as he heard about what was about to happen.

He stormed the ritual room, blasted the doors down and attempted to take on all the Templars there. Naturally, he failed as the Templars deflected his spells, though two of them were caught by the surprise and were injured in the process. Aaron’s panicked face was the last he saw before he was knocked out. He was put in isolation for a week after that incident, denied all contact and even knowledge of what had happened to Aaron, though he feared the worst.Isaiah received several punishments for his lashing out; punishments that would last for several months and he was put under careful care of Senior Enchanter Lydia who were charged to keep an eye on him to make sure this was just one incident and not the start of something more. Beyond that, his entire left forearm was scarred by his own fire that a Templar deflected back on him; it gave him an intense dislike for fire magic, especially his own and perhaps subconsciously he's not even capable of casting it any more.Aaron did become a Tranquil and Isaiah only visited him once after that. He couldn’t stand seeing his former friend like a sleepwalking, emotionless being and despite Aaron wishing for their friendship to continue, Isaiah just couldn’t do it. The next time he’d see Aaron would be when the Tranquil was killed during the Mage Rebellion; and that’s a guilt Isaiah will need to learn to live with.- 9:31 – 9:40 Dragon [Age 20- 29] – Isaiah becomes an excellent teacher as well as the Circle’s best ice mage, there’s very little he can’t do with ice. Just as things seem to be perfect though, in year 9:37 the Mage Rebellion happens. Things after that would never turn quite the same and much of the time is spent worrying about the future and following political debates. While Isaiah tried to keep mostly out of that, with his time spent with Enchanter Lydia, he had no way to fully avoid it and would help her in such matters. As the Ostwick circle remained as neutral as they could be towards the Mage-Templar war, he figured things could be much worse.- 9:41 Dragon [Age 30] – Despite Isaiah wanting little to do with his blood family, the mages insisted on him sending him along Lydia and a few others to the Conclave, hoping that his noble blood would stay away any hostilities. As proven though, it did little to save anyone at the Conclave, beyond Isaiah himself.- 9:41 – 9:43 Dragon [Age 30-32] – The Inquisition takes up the majority of Isaiah’s life and he spends those years adapting to a new role and a very different life. Knowing that everything he had planned for himself is now most likely not going to happen, he more or less gives the Inquisition everything he has.During this time he falls in love with Dorian and they enter a deep relationship, with Dorian helping Isaiah through a very tough time. After the the defeat of Corypheus, Dorian stays with Isaiah, despite making plans to return to Tevinter at some point.- 9:43 - 9:44 [Age 32-33] - After the Inquisition’s success and Solas’ disappearance, the Order continues with cleaning up the mess afterwards. Isaiah eventually goes after Solas, demanding answers. He receives none that's helpful and the Dread Wolf simply tells Isaiah that he regrets hurting him and to enjoy what time is left before his plans begin.Horrified by the implications and having lost the Anchor as well as his left forearm, Isaiah at first doesn't know what to do. As Dorian is returning to Tevinter to see if he can change the ways there, Isaiah decides to tag along. Partly to be helpful to Dorian but also because the clues he has found to foil Solas is found in Tevinter.

STAR WARS.
A very talented mirialan, Isaiah has spent most of his time working as a researcher and a doctor on an obscure planet on the behalf of the Republic. On top of that he's a tinkerer, working on cryo-grenades and other types of tools.
As the Empire takes over, the research station is under threat of being dismantled. Having no desire to be relocated or work for the Empire, Isaiah calls on Cid's aid, to smuggle him off the planet. The Bad Batch are sent on this mission, realising that Crosshair's new squad is the ones doing the evacuation. Seeing their chance to grab their brother as well, they make an attempt which results in Echo's near death. As they flee the planet with Isaiah in tow, the doctor keeps Echo stabile until they can get him to a bacta tank at an ally's location. Isaiah joins Rex after this, and ends up being of great aid to the clone cause.

SKYRIM.
As a young man, Isaiah ends up in the college of Winterhold. Already as a child he showed great prowess in magic, his family being one of the strongest magic wielders in High Rock. While some of the talent can be assumed to involve his Breton blood, it’s also from a lot of practice and studies. Something he dedicated a lot of time to once in Winterhold.
One day he stumbles upon a woman in the wilds after a full moon; passed out with a great deal of wounds on her body. He brings her back to the college, nursing her up to health, only to realize she’s the Dragonborn. Varga and Isaiah quickly become good friends and while he often remains in the college, he sometimes travel with her.At some point while Varga deals with the crisis in the world; Isaiah becomes the Arch Mage of the College. He can usually be found in the college or out in the wilds/other cities. He favours destruction magic (Ice only), but knows general restoration and conjuration, as well as alteration.

WITCHER.
Isaiah was a gifted child; who worked hard to learn his powers well, without hurting himself or anyone else in the process. Like many other magically talented boys, he was moved to the Brotherhood of Sorcerers’s keep outside of Novigrad. His best friend Aaron, wasn’t as lucky when it came to the discipline that every mage needs; his magical abilities became uncontrollable, eventually driving him mad. Before he could kill someone in his madness, Isaiah’s teachers had to kill the boy instead.
Isaiah did try to stop them; a mistake that burned his entire left forearm in the battle. In memory of what
happened, he never bothers to hide or heal the mark. His teachers punished him by slowing his education and he spent years making up for his own transgression. He succeeded in becoming an amazing mage though, eventually becoming a Battle Mage, one of the higher ranked mages in the Brotherhood.
During the events of Witcher 3, he’s on the run, like all of their kind is. Desperate, he seeks out an old friend, namely Lambert, one of the Wolf Witchers. Hearing rumours about the Black Wolf in the area, he finds him and asks to rest in Kaer Morhen during the winter at least. Given shelter in Kaer Morhen, Isaiah can finally relax a little, partaking in the Battle of Kaer Morhen and staying behind because for as long as the mage hunts goes on, it’s frankly where he’s the safest.

Once upon a time...
Tenshin grew up as a slave, along with an argonian named Reeh-Tan, in Blacklight. They were both orphans who were bought by a dunmer noble there and they served him until their teens; when their master was murdered by the Morag Tong. Reeh-Tan managed to get away and would later join the Morag Tong in gratitude but Tenshin was caught as they escaped the scene. Just as the Redoran soldiers had captured him, a group of Imperial soldiers came to investigate. As the dunmer didn’t wish to say that Tenshin was a runaway slave, they instead blamed the noble’s murder on him and let the Imperials have him instead. To them it didn’t matter.
The Morrowind events take place and Tenshin is freed from prison and joins the Blades per his orders. He also joins the mages’ guild and finds the Morag Tong, where he also encounters Reeh-Tan again. For a few years, Tenshin developed his skills in all three factions but eventually the path of the Nerevarine pulls him away from most of them. He successfully proves that he is the Nerevarine and defeats Dagoth Ur.After that, he spends most of his time in Mournhold and its there he is when the Red Year happens. He does his best to aid the relief efforts, as well as in fighting the argonians when they later invade Morrowind. When Mournhold falls, Tenshin falls as well. Seeing himself a failure and blaming Vivec’s disappearance on his own actions (thus the start of the Red Year), he flees in shame. He cuts his hair into a mohawk and dons a helmet that never comes off unless he‘s alone, to avoid people recognising him as the failed Nerevarine.

Over the next 200 years, he travels across Tamriel as a mercenary. It’s first when in 4E 176 that he returns to Morrowind, specifically Blacklight and Solstheim, which is also when the civil war in Skyrim breaks out. Seeing the unrest in the lands so near Morrowind, he decides to stay nearby, in case trouble happens. More experienced and more at ease with himself, he sees it as a chance to make up for past mistakes. He only takes jobs in Skyrim or near Skyrim’s borders from now on.A year before the Skyrim events, his patron is killed and he goes back to Raven Rock on Solstheim, a place he enjoys. The year after, Varga finds and hires him, pulling him into yet another quest that will decide the fate of the world. This time he’s determined to make the best of it and what better way of doing that, than protecting the Dragonborn?

WITCHER.
Tenshin’s clan up to the north, was attacked and destroyed when he was a child; he and his friend Reyse Nelor survived, but were instead sent south east, in order to be shipped to the continent and be sold off as slaves. A Centipede Witcher came across the bandit caravan as they travelled and took them out; freeing the captured children and escorted them to the island’s capital. She was impressed by Tenshin’s and Reyse’s courage, as they had killed one of the bandits during her intervention. As orphans, they had nowhere to go and she offered them a chance to become Witchers, something they readily accepted.
Despite the odds, they both survived the trials and reached adulthood as able Witchers, setting off on their own Paths. Tenshin stayed in the south for two decades, aiding his people before heading north to take on a Lindwyrm per tradition. He felled the beast after a hunt that lasted weeks and brought back its skull to the School, earning himself a Centipede decorated sheath for his sword; a token that all Witchers on the Island deserve for killing such a tough beast. These Witchers also earn the right to travel to the continent, something Tenshin did and he spent a few years there, learning of their people and customs and was not impressed. After that, he spent most of his time on Morrow.Once he hit a hundred years old, he spent a lot of time back at the School, teaching the younger students for around two decades when he wasn’t on the Path himself. It was around that time that Nilfgaard started to get interested in Morrow; and they sent an envoy, trying to gain their Council’s trust and interest in an alliance. An alliance the Council did not approve of; and Nilgaard decided that if they couldn’t ally with Morrow, they’d simply take it.They made one attempt, thinking the island easy prey; but not only did the Witchers take on the challenge, the island’s well trained warriors also did. Nilfgaard were forced to run away with their tail between their legs; surprised by the ferocity, not only among the people but also the beasts that roamed the land. Since then, even up to the events of Witcher 3, there’s been a very unsteady air between Morrow and Nilfgaard.Tenshin fought in that battle and has since then grown a dislike towards Nilfgaard. A part of him wants to go fight them, before they invade the whole continent and grow the numbers to invade Morrow again, but as long as the Council refuses, he can’t do anything.

Through Umbra, Ranec can use the warframe’s sword like an electrified lightsaber, that can parry blows from current lightsabers as well as deflect blaster bolts.
•   likes   :   Animals, reading, decorating his clothes and himself
•   personality   : balanced, capable, calm, charming, elegant, humorous, good-natured, outspoken, sarcastic, vulnerable
Ranec's people, the Luans, are long gone, as he was put in a stasis about 2000 years ago. The galaxy he wakes up to (During the Clone Wars) is very different to what he remembers. His stasis chamber is found by Dooku, who manages to revive him and attempts to persuade him to join the Separatists. At the same time, Obi-Wan back at the Jedi Temple, learns that one of the ancient artifacts in the temple has come to life. Ranec's half sentient warframe, Umbra. A biological machine who cannot function too well without its driver. He ends up working with Hide and The Bad Batch in order to help Umbra track Ranec down, who can sense where he is. They defeat Dooku and bring Ranec over to their side. Ranec doesn't care which side is right at that moment, he just wants to reunite with Umbra and get along with his life. When the Clone Wars end, he helps the Bad Batch for a while before he gets to business with finding a safe place to hide from the building Empire. Along with Rex and a few others, he succeeds, guiding refugees and freed clones to Skeio; an old hidden Luan world that the Empire can't access. The Bad Batch and Ash eventually joins them on Skeio and after the escape from Mount Tantiss, Hunter can finally relax enough to build on the growing feelings between him and Ranec.

Lambert's early life was filled with despair as his father was a raging alcoholic who hated him. He sold Lambert to the Silver Hand, a group of monster hunters, who were thrilled to gain a child to train. The Silver Hand's headquarters was far away and Lambert was never given the permission to see or hear from his mom; something he grew resentful over. Many years later, Lambert was done with his training and sent out to continue the Path of taking out monsters. The first thing he did was to travel back to his family home, only to find a much older Torvald but no Astra. The father claimed disease had taken her but Lambert had become very skilled with detecting the truth in the environment and from people. After questioning the nearby town, he figured out that Torvald had most likely beaten Astra to death.Enraged, Lambert confronted Torvald, who confessed to his crime and before Lambert could stop himself, he committed patricide on the spot. Leaving the north, he travelled further south, taking out monsters as he went. Something he persisted with for almost two decades, with his depression growing. He started to drink more and more to drown his problems, which eventually resulted in him contracting a disease that'd change his life.Finding himself becoming one of those he had previously been hunting, a werebadger, he struggled with continuing with his work. He turned to bounty hunting instead, trying to bury his other lifestyle. Having opened his eyes to the supernatural in a different way, he only took out non sentient monsters. One day he saw a young man named Kieran needing help against a chort, which Lambert threw himself at, perhaps hoping to end it all for once. He almost managed, becoming wounded in the process.Taken to Kieran's gang, a group of werewolves and a cardul sorceress, he barely survived the encounter. The gang's leader Hosea spared him despite finding out he used to be a monster hunter, finding his predicament of being a man with a foot in both worlds, punishment enough. Lambert was offered to rest up in the gang, despite protests from some of the others. He wasn't intending on staying for longer than necessary but he grew fond of the group and they of him. After having spent so many years alone, Lambert was thankful for the chance to be a part of something and he tagged along, sobering up and becoming a member of the gang. After a year with them, some of the older gang members decided to retire from that life. Lambert struggled to do anything else, preferring a life on the move. Those that agreed with him followed him and they formed their own gang, in which Lambert took the lead. During this time he met and helped Jadenah, a young werewolf who he came to see as a younger sister. Along with her, he picked up a few more strays during the gang's early development.Today, they're a powerful gang, known as the Black Wolves. Running their Robin Hood schemes, to rob the rich and give to the poor. While they move around a lot, they're currently hiding out near Rusthowl.

Star Wars Fanfic (Golden Wings)

DISCLAIMER.
If you've gotten this far, you probably already know I am highly critical of the direction the show ended up taking. I love the concept and the characters however, so I decided to re-write the show to my own liking.
In that, I've made the decision to remove Omega, for several reasons, but mostly because I don't enjoy the 'Dad Batch' formulae and I'm frankly tired of the 'grumpy man adopts child trope'.I'm sorry if this pisses someone off, but this story and my headcanons, what have you, are for myself and a friend foremost. I'm sharing it online (eventually) for those who might feel the same as us.Thank you for reading!

HEADCANONS.
The Bad Batch have slower ageing than other clones, due to their defective nature, though they aren't aware of this yet.
The inhibitor chips are still very much in play here. They are a danger and every clone needs to get rid of it once they're freed from the Empire. There are new races and a few crossovers (mainly Warframe) that I've created myself or adapted into the setting in numerous ways.Things stay fairly "canon" in the Star Wars universe until the end of the Original trilogy. Palpatine stays dead and doesn't return in any sequels. I don't have any direct plans for the future yet but I'm a huge fan of the Jedi Knight games and will most likely stick to something around that story, with a few influences from the later TV Shows. As far as I'm aware I don't really use any 'established' fandom lore, clones or not.I'm ignoring the canon established numbering of the Bad Batch, as I already had a headcanon for that.

CARDULS.
The Carduls are a blue skinned species with wings and elven features. They’re physically stronger and slightly faster than regular humans, with much better hearing.
They were discovered by the galactic community first in 150 BBY (130 years before the Empire's formation) due to a hidden hyperspace route. The carduls struggled for a long time with adapting to the galactic world and are still seen as a savage people, with poor knowledge in technology. They joined the Republic in 24 BBY. Later on, when the Empire formed, Cardulia tried to rebel but was quickly crushed and ended up a broken planet under the Empire's control. There's still pockets of resistance on the planet. Most carduls still have an intense dislike for pirates due them feuding a lot with neighbouring systems known for piracy and slavery at the start of their galactic experience.Despite their rumour for being technologically inept, a cardulian weapon smith recently created a particular sniper rifle that is called an anti-shield rifle. It can be fully charged to take out even the toughest shields but renders the weapon useless for some time after one shot. It's said that the carduls' deity, a giant dragon like creature, rests somewhere under a mountain. They visit the dreams of the cardul seids and offer advice and even visions. Due to this, some suspect that the creature is a Force entity.

LUANS.
The Luans were a humanoid race that were active around 1500-1000 years ago. (They are highly inspired by Warframe and is basically a crossover.)
Lua, their homeworld, was a part of a multiple habitable planet system that stayed out of any Galactic affairs for a long time. They were a feared people as they had advanced and unknown technology. They had the ability to create living armour known as warframes that could resist even lightsabers. These warframes were controlled by Force sensitive people called Operators. An operator was taken as a child and lived with other operators, undergoing harsh training. While operators are usually physically weak, they have immense mental strength.Their physical body disappears when they control a warframe. Even outside their warframes, they can produce grey/violet beams of pure force to take out enemies.Around 1000 BBY, they were eradicated by unknown forces and their system was destroyed.Ranec is the only surviving Luan by the time of the Empire's formation.

ULVEN.
They're a humanoid species capable of shapeshifting into animals. They’ve got horns of various colours, as well different patterns of scales across their face and body.
Their home world is Ulvena, a mostly abandoned planet due to few resources, since decades ago. That’s why many ulven are a nomadic species these days and quite rare.Through the force they are able to shapeshift their bodies. While most forms are allowed, some animals are considered so taboo to shapeshift to that they can inflict damage on the ulven's soul. Rancors are such a creature. All ulven have a default shape they can always use and are born with. A werewolf creature that is agile and fast, capable of running on all fours. Some mistake them for loth-wolves. They are called Ulfr and are native to the ulven homeworld. Usually their shapeshifts have a set of colours across various forms.Varga's for instance, always have white fur/scales/skin with some copper tones and hazel eyes.

Characters from the fanfic (Golden Wings)

CT-9901 HUNTER.
•   Likes: Peace and quiet, doodling, animals,
•   Quirks: Quite often plays with his knife when bored. Doodles on papers when they’re around.
•   Weaknesses: Sensitive to loud noises, suffers the occasional migraine.
Hunter is the oldest out of the Bad Batch. He’s always been the squad’s de facto leader, until he became their sergeant once they were deployed. As they were often bullied by the other clones when they grew up, he saw it as his job to protect them.Hunter can come off as gruff and stoic but he really does care a lot more than he lets show. As their leader, he has to be the one who is ready to keep a bigger distance from everything, in order to make the right decisions. Usually the mediator between his squad and anyone else.Strong sense of morality, with knowing what’s right and wrong. He doesn’t condone harming or killing civilians and will refuse orders if he feels they’re morally wrong.Has a slowly developing romantic relationship with Ranec.

CT-9902 WRECKER.
•   Likes: Explosives, excitement, combat.
•   Quirks: Will use whatever he gets his hands on to weight lift with. Very strong bear hugs.
•   Weaknesses: Afraid of heights. Has occasional muscle pains due to his altered body.
Wrecker is the second oldest of the Bad Batch. While Hunter has been the leader, Wrecker has been the one who has taken physical blows for the others in order to protect them. He’ll tease and jostle with any of them however his favourite target has always been Crosshair, as they share a special bond. It’s difficult to miss Wrecker as he tends to be loud and excitable. He by far prefers to deal with things hands on and doesn’t much enjoy taking it slow or dealing much with technology, unless it’s about explosives. He’s got a big heart.Much as Hunter, he doesn’t want to hurt civilians.

CT-1409 ECHO.
•   Likes: reading, peace and quiet.
•   Quirks: Suspicious of anything new, especially food.
•   Weaknesses: Sensitive to EMPs, general pain in his body, ‘ghost limb’ sensations.
Echo didn’t grow up with the other Batchers and struggled in the start to find his place in the group. The others however were patient and welcoming, helping him overcome his struggles with dealing with his cybernetics. While they’ll probably never reach the levels of Fives, Echo enjoys his time with his new squad. He’s often the tired parent of the group, trying to keep things together and clean. Works the best with Tech as they enjoy the same subjects and Tech is the one responsible for maintaining Echo’s cybernetics.A very tired man, Echo has no time for anyone’s bullshit. He’s respectful when given respect back. Prefers to keep to set rules and regulations. Somewhat grumpy these days with a kind heart. If you hang around him enough, you'll see the humour underneath though.Loathes breaking laws and doesn’t like the idea of being a mercenary. Will protect civilians to his dying breath and won’t tolerate any slander towards the Republic.(Echo is still a bit of a wip for me, info above can change)

CT-9903 TECH.
•   Sexuality: Grey-sexual
•   Height: 6'4
•   Weapons: Two DC-17 blasters, sometimes a blaster carbine, thermal detonators.
•   Likes: Recording things, organising, learning, talking.
•   Personality: Talkative, brave, skilled, intelligent, sarcastic, knowledgable, cocky.
•   Other: Autistic. Emotes mostly inwardly, info dumps, special interests, difficulty understanding some social cues. Doesn’t like change but has learned to live with it, and masks a lot of meltdowns. Dislikes the touch of water. Suffers from migraines.
The second youngest of the Bad Batch, shared a growth tube with Crosshair which is why they’re more alike each other than their brothers. Tech as a cadet took on the worst bullying by the regular clones, as he was the weakest. As a result, he became a bit closed off, eventually learning to ignore any comments thrown his way and focusing on increasing his knowledge. Often serves as the group’s medic and keeps an eye on their storages and credits as well as is their main pilot. Gets along well with Crosshair and Echo and looks to Hunter for commands and guidance. Will often purposefully confuse Wrecker.Ever since he met Ash, especially after they developed a romantic relationship, Tech has adopted more and more of the cardulian culture. After surviving the fall on Eriadu and the following Tantiss imprisonment, Tech now has a scar across the left side of his skull and prefers to keep his hair in an undercut due to this.

CT-9904 CROSSHAIR.
•   Likes: Teasing others, old history.
•   Quirks: Leans a lot on his rifle or rests the rifle against his shoulder. Is often found with a toothpick in his mouth.
•   Weaknesses: Doesn’t always cooperate well with others, pisses people off, eye strain and reacts stronger to lights.
Crosshair is the youngest of the Bad Batch, if only because he was taken out of his shared tube with Tech last. Crosshair was the first to jump into his squad’s defence when they were cadets. As such, he was also often the one who would throw the first punch and get into trouble. He’s somewhat overprotective of Tech and gets along well with Wrecker. He may butt heads with Hunter sometimes but respects the man greatly.Often cynical, Crosshair keeps a certain distance to everyone; partly because of past bullying but also because he sees himself as superior to many others. In truth, he’s very attentive to others' needs and will do almost anything to protect those he cares about. Very dry and sarcastic humour, as well as loves teasing his brothers. While having a little looser morals than the others, he still won’t harm civilians. After his inhibitor chip activated this obviously changed and even with it gone; he struggles a little with judging what’s his own morals or the chip’s these days, thanks to Rampart's manipulations.

With his white hair (usually braided), white beard, purple eyes and black and white wings, Geir tends to stand out even among his own people. As such, it was believed even from a young age that he'd end up doing remarkable things. He grew into a 5'9 man who mastered archery, melee combat and firearms, but who also ended up having a clever mind for strategy. As such, his role in warrior groups when younger was that of the strategist and planner.Geir is quite realistic and pragmatic in his thinking. He's always prepared to sacrifice for the sake of the greater good, such as killing thousands of his own people, in order to usher them into the greatness that is the Empire. It's difficult to make him lose his temper, but once it happens he's spiteful and unpleasant. He loathes it when he's out manoeuvred in tactics and doesn't suffer defeats with dignity.

A gentle 6' cardul with short, black hair and brown eyes. His wings are black and red while his skin is a regular blue with very few freckles.Being a seid, Arfast wears robes, blended with some leather pieces as armour. More unusually he has a feather cloak, with black, blue and red colorations; a reward for his hard work back on Cardulia.Arfast is quiet and intelligent, thinking before he speaks. It takes a lot to dull his mood and he's got a curious and easy going spirit.

Hakon is a 6' cardul with dark purple, wavy hair and green eyes. His skin is a light blue hue, while his wings are black and orange. He always wears his black leather jacket, along with a comfortable shirt, trousers and boots in brown colours, with no accessories. As for weapons, two blasters does the work for him, as well as grenades when the need calls for it. While he's decently skilled in melee combat, he prefers to avoid that; utilizing his wings and agility to avoid most close combat. This is a man with high charisma but low wisdom. A liar, a flirter and someone who thinks the worlds owe him everything. He's very assured that his quick tongue can win him any situation. If that doesn't work he'll use his weapons or dirty methods to get what he wants. In worst cases, he expects the Durands to bail him out.

Hardy and happy, Raud strives to bring a smile to anyone's face, no matter what happens. He's difficult to piss off but once it does happen, he's akin to thunder.Raud is the one who took Ash in after her parents were killed and sees her as his daughter. He introduced her to Zenda and started Ash's career within the Republic. Until Order 66 happened. While Ash fled the planet, Raud was off-planet.His location is unknown at the moment.

Nioh 2 /Rise of the Ronin fanfic (A new beginning)

HELLO.
Welcome to my little info page about my Nioh 2/Rise of the Ronin fanfic.
Nioh 2 has always been dear to me and I was thrilled to see that I could basically re-create my Hide in Rise of the Ronin as well. While the games don't have anything in common, beyond the same game studio, Rise of the Ronin still slots in as a near perfect sequal to Nioh 2 in my head! And with Ryoma being around, I just had to write down his and Hide's story into a fanfic.Thank you for reading!Hide's infoTenshin's info

HEADCANONS.
While Shiftlings and yokai/demons were more known during Nioh 2's era, by the time of Rise of the Ronin (the 1800s), they have faded into obscurity some. Demons are still sighted, but very rarely, enough that most still believe they're myths.
However, the brewing civil war means that the risk of another yokai invasion (especially with spirit stones getting involved) increases. That's what Hide and the Sohaya seeks to avoid during RotR. While he also gets distracted by the ongoing politics.

SHIFTLINGS.
Shiftlings are half demons with immense powers. They're humans with access to a demonic form, unique to their personality and style.
They're immortal and immune to anynatural deaths (as in fact, dying is a temporary event for them, as they always come back to life a determined time afterwards.)The only thing that can take them out are specific yokai slaying weapons or demonic corruption. The latter is particular dangerous as that puts them in a rage, unable to control themselves and eventually they become feral demons.
